Aarti Distributors

Aarti Distributors operates out of Srinagar Colony in the Punjagutta area. It is a busy part of the city, and finding a parking spot near our entrance can be a real headache some mornings. The office is basically a few rooms packed with boxes and ledgers where we keep track of everything coming in. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few notes taped up so we don't forget things. The atmosphere here is usually quite fast-paced because the delivery drivers are always coming and going. You can hear the sound of tape dispensers and the rustle of packing paper almost all day long. We have a small crew, and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is strangely quiet for an hour or two. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused, especially during the humid afternoons when the air gets heavy. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We just focus on getting the crates moved and the paperwork signed so the trucks can head back out. The neighborhood is full of life, and we feel like a small part of the daily rhythm of Srinagar Colony. It’s just how we’ve always done things.
