There is a lot of history in these streets. Our place is pretty basic. We have our desks, our records, and a lot of coffee. We handle food services, so it is a lot of coordination between different people and places. It gets noisy outside sometimes with the traffic and the local markets, but we are used to it by now. We aren't some big corporate entity with a glass front. We are just a local limited liability partnership doing our best. Most of our work involves making sure the food gets to where it needs to be on time. It is a lot of responsibility, but we take it seriously. We don't use big words or fancy talk; we just do the job. Some days are longer than others, especially when things get backed up. But we stay until it's done. People in the neighborhood know us, and we know them. It’s a very grounded way to run a food business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and a clock. It is just a simple, practical life for us here in Aliabad. We usually finish up and head home before the main evening rush starts.
