Our workplace is located at Flat No 109 in the Canna Block of Garden Towers, which is right in the Masab Tank area of Hyderabad. It is an apartment building, so it feels a lot more like a residence than a typical office park. Pricewaterhousecoopers Pvt Ltd uses this flat to manage all our daily operations. Living and working in the same complex is common around here, and we like the convenience of it. The elevator is sometimes a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs to the first floor. Inside, we have converted the rooms into workspaces. The kitchen is mostly just for making endless rounds of tea and coffee to keep us going through the afternoon. We have a balcony that looks out over the courtyard, which is a good spot to stand when you need a break from the computer screen. The furniture is a mix of things we have picked up over the years. Nothing matches perfectly, but everything is comfortable. It is a bit noisy when the school bus drops the kids off in the afternoon, but we don't mind the life and energy of the building. We are just a small group of people doing our jobs in a space that feels comfortable and familiar. It is not a place for big speeches or corporate polishing, just for getting the hard work finished.
