Santhu Photography

Santhu Photography is over here at Plot No. 68 on Road 4. It is in Prashasan Nagar. The studio isn’t very big but it fits what we need. Most days start with turning on the lights and checking the camera batteries. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road so we spend time wiping down the lenses and the computer screen. The chairs for people to sit on are a bit old now but they are comfortable enough for a short wait. We have some backdrops hanging on the wall that we use for portraits. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door and wait for it to come back. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We keep some water in the corner for anyone who stops by. The neighborhood is usually quiet during the morning hours. You can hear the birds in the trees nearby before the traffic picks up later on. We usually have a few memory cards lying around on the desk that need sorting. It’s just a normal place where we do our work and try to keep things organized. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door and the equipment inside. The floor is made of grey tiles that stay cool even when it's warm outside. We close up around seven and head home to eat.
