You can find Portmanteau Technologies over in Old Bowenpally. We are in the G2 unit of Sai Niketan Apartments in Swarnadhama Nagar. It is a residential-feeling area, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than being in one of those big glass towers downtown. Secunderabad has its own pace, and we kind of like that. The apartment setup works for us because it is quiet and we have our own little space to focus on the work. We usually have a few computers running and some papers scattered around the desks. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is when we need it. We walk to the local shops for snacks or if we need to pick up some basic office supplies. Sometimes the neighbors in the building stop by to say hello. It is a friendly vibe. Hyderabad can be a bit overwhelming, but this corner of the city feels like a small village sometimes. We just do our technical work and try to keep things moving. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a group of people working together in a ground-floor apartment. The light is okay during the day, and we have enough space for our gear. It is a simple life here at Sai Niketan. We mostly just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay out of the heat.
