We are over at Plot Number 46 in Satya Sai Nagar, which is part of Jillelaguda. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit more like home than a cold office building. We’ve been operating out of here for some time now, and most of the neighbors know us by now. The name Phantom Constructions sounded interesting when we picked it, but our day-to-day is actually very grounded and practical. We spend most of our hours looking at drawings or talking to laborers on-site. There is always something that needs fixing or a plan that needs a slight tweak. We keep things pretty simple in the office, just the basics like desks, chairs, and a kettle for tea. It gets quite noisy sometimes with the traffic nearby, but we’re used to it. We mainly focus on projects around this side of Hyderabad, staying close to what we know. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment here. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and we have to spend a Saturday catching up. It’s just the reality of running a small construction outfit. We’ve got a handful of people who do the heavy lifting, and we’re glad to be part of the community here in Jillelaguda. Most of our tools are stored in the back, and there's usually a truck parked out front getting loaded up for the morning to get to the sites.
