Our office is located at Villa No. 65 in Phase-13 of Indu Fortune Fields, which is part of the KPHB Colony in Kukatpally. It is a bit different than working in a skyscraper because it is an actual house. We like it that way at Paper Sign Software Private Limited. It makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed, even when things are busy. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is pretty quiet during the day except for the occasional delivery truck or neighbors heading out. We have turned the main rooms into our workspace with plenty of cables running across the floor. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The kitchen is always stocked with snacks because we tend to work late hours on our software projects. Kukatpally is a busy side of town, but once you get inside the gates here, it is a different world. We have been here for a bit now and have gotten used to the layout. There is a small garden area outside where we sometimes sit to talk about what needs to be fixed in the code. We don't really do the corporate thing with suits or formal meetings. It is just a bunch of us trying to build things that work. Most of our day is spent typing away and drinking way too much coffee while we look at the screens and try to figure out problems.
