We operate out of a flat in K.L.N. Enclave in Nagarjuna Nagar. It’s a regular apartment building, so it’s not your typical looking business place. We’re in Flat 302. Most of our time is spent on the phone or on the computer dealing with shipping and paperwork. We handle exports, mostly stone and related materials. It’s a lot of coordination between the quarries and the docks. We don't keep the actual stone here in the office, obviously. That would be a mess for the neighbors. We mostly manage the logistics from Yellareddyguda. It gets busy during the day with calls coming in from different time zones. We have piles of folders and charts everywhere. It’s just a few of us working here. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites to check the material before it gets packed up. The building is usually quiet, which helps us focus. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. People find us through word of mouth mostly. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just an office where we get things done. We try to keep the coffee pot full and the internet working. That’s about all we need to keep the business moving. It’s a practical way to run things without the overhead of a big warehouse. Living and working in Yellareddyguda is convenient for us. We might not have a yard full of stone right outside our door.
