Paleti Chinna Koteswara Rao

Paleti Chinna Koteswara Rao is the name on the board outside and it is my name too. I’ve been working at 2-963-78 for a long time now. Being right near the I D A Jeedimetla Post Office makes it easy for people to find the place, which is good because the industrial area can be a bit of a maze. The street is always full of noise from the trucks going past. It gets dusty, and by the afternoon, everything in the office has a thin layer of grit on it. I don’t mind it much anymore. Most days, I am either at my desk or out back seeing how the work is moving along. This isn't one of those modern buildings with lots of glass and air conditioning. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. Some of the neighbors have been here as long as I have, and we usually grab tea from the same vendor in the mornings. The roof is made of metal, so when it rains, you can’t hear yourself think, but when it’s sunny, it gets plenty hot. We just keep the fans blowing and stay busy. People from Jeedimetla know they can just walk in and talk to us. There is no need for fancy appointments or formal letters. We just live our lives and do our daily jobs right here in this corner of the city.
