Orchids English School

It’s been a good number of years since we first opened the doors at Orchids English School in Dilsuknagar. Our address is 16 2 754 A 9 in the Apau Colony area. If you live in Hyderabad, you know how busy these streets can get, especially during the morning rush. The school itself is tucked away a bit, which is nice because it cuts down on some of the noise from the main road. We have a handful of classrooms and a small office where we keep all the student files and books. The walls are a pale color and have some old posters on them about grammar and vocabulary. We don't have a giant playground or a fancy cafeteria, just a solid place where students come to learn. Usually, you’ll hear the sound of teachers reading aloud or the ceiling fans humming along in the heat. We try to keep things organized, but with so many kids around, there’s always a bit of a mess with bags and umbrellas near the entrance. Most of the families who send their children here live right in the colony or just a short walk away. We know most of the parents by name because we see them every day at the gate. It isn't a corporate institution; it’s just a local school trying to help people with their English. We spend our time grading papers and planning out the next week’s lessons. It's a lot of work, but it’s what we do here.
