Arjun English School

Arjun English School is situated in the I S Sadan area of Santosh Nagar. It is a busy part of the city with a lot of traffic passing through throughout the day. The school building is right there among the houses and small shops. We have been here for a long time and most people in the neighborhood know the name. It is a plain building without much decoration or fancy signage. Inside, you will find rows of classrooms with the usual wooden desks and chairs. Some of them have scratches and marks from years of use. We don't see any point in replacing things just because they look old if they still work fine for the kids. The hallways are narrow and it gets crowded when the bell rings for break time. We have a small staff room where the teachers sit and check papers during their free periods. There is always the sound of the city coming in through the open windows—horns honking and people shouting in the street. You get used to it after a while. We focus on the basic subjects. There aren't many extra activities because we don't have the space for them. Most kids just go home right after the final bell rings in the afternoon. It’s a straightforward school. We don't put on a show for anyone. Parents bring their kids here because they know what to expect and it is convenient for their daily lives. It’s a practical choice for the community.
