Akshara English School

Akshara English School is located at Plot No- 47 in Srinagar Colony, right along High Tension Road in Old Alwal. If you know that road, you know it can be a bit busy with all the vehicles passing by at all hours. Our building is at Plot 47 and it’s a standard multi-story setup. Because we’re on High Tension Road, there’s always a bit of background noise from the traffic, but the kids and teachers have mostly learned to tune it out during their lessons. Srinagar Colony is a decent area and we have a lot of students who live within walking distance from the surrounding lanes. We have different levels of classes, and each room is packed with benches and desks that have seen quite a few years of use by now. It’s not one of those modern schools with air conditioning in every room. We just use ceiling fans and keep the windows open for air most of the time. During the breaks, the kids stay mostly inside or in the small space we have out front because the road is so busy. We keep a close eye on the front gate for that reason. Every day is pretty much the same: the bell rings, the lessons start, and we try to keep things moving. It’s a practical place for families in Old Alwal who need a school nearby. We don't have many bells and whistles, just the basic stuff needed.
