Omkar Foods

Our place is located at 6-8-7 in the Mudwal Compound over in Vidyanagar. It’s not a very large setup, just enough space for us to manage the food items and get everything sorted out. The compound can get a bit crowded during the day when trucks are trying to move in and out, but we’ve gotten used to the squeeze. Most of the staff here live nearby, so we usually walk or take a cycle to work. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure things are packed up the way they should be. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, making it quite warm inside, but we have a few old fans that keep the air moving a little bit. We don't do much in terms of fancy displays or anything like that. It’s mostly just boxes and bags piled up where there is room. Sometimes the neighbors from the other units in the compound drop by for a chat while we are working. It’s a busy kind of life, always something to count or move around. We’ve been operating out of this Vidyanagar spot for some time, and the building has some character, even if the walls could use a bit of paint. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It’s a simple routine, from the time we unlock the doors until we finish up in the evening.
