We spend most of our days up here on the 9th floor of the MJR Magnifique building. Getting to work involves navigating the Nanakramguda X Roads, which is usually a bit of a scramble in the mornings. Once you get through the lobby and up the lift to Block C, things settle down. We’ve been set up here for a while now, handling various tech projects. The office has a decent view of Raidurga Navkhalsa if you stand by the window, though most of us are usually looking at screens. It’s a standard workspace with desks, chairs, and too many cables under the floor. Sometimes the coffee machine works and sometimes it doesn’t, which is just how it goes. We started Ojas Innovative Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to just do our work and keep things moving. There isn’t much flair to the place. It’s practical. We have our meetings in the small room near the back and try to stay organized with the different software tasks coming in. The commute can be long for some of the guys living further out, but being in this hub makes sense for what we do. The elevators are usually a bit slow around lunchtime when everyone is trying to head out to find something to eat. We often just bring our own tiffins and sit in the break area near the small sink. It’s a quiet enough floor once the door is shut, which is good for focusing.
