Sini Thomas Care Hospital is where we are located, specifically on Exhibition Road in Nampally. It's a busy part of Hyderabad. Being a nurse here means the days are long and you are always on your feet. The hospital is right in the middle of all the noise and traffic of the city. We see a lot of people coming through the doors every single day. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do. The hallways can get quite packed, and there is always something that needs to be finished or a patient who needs help. Working in Nampally has its own set of challenges, like the parking and the heat during the summer months. We are just around the corner from the main exhibition grounds. The building itself has been there for a while, so it has that lived-in feel. It isn’t like those super modern hospitals you see in movies, but it works for the people who live nearby. We handle a lot of different cases, and everyone on the staff just tries to get through their shift while doing the best they can. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and the phones don't stop ringing. It’s a practical kind of place. Most of us have been working in this area for a long time, so we know the local streets and the shortcuts pretty well. It's just a normal hospital life on a very busy road.
