Novartis India is located in Flat 104 of the Prashant building on Banjara Road No 12. We are right in the heart of Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Banjara Hills is a pretty famous area, but our office is quite modest. Flat 104 is just a regular sized space where we manage our operations. It’s got a bit of an older feel to it, which we actually like. It’s not one of those cold, modern offices. We’ve got some plants by the window and a lot of books and folders piled up. The traffic on Road No 12 can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we all try to get in early or stay late to avoid it. Working from an apartment building means we see our neighbors coming and going, which makes the place feel more alive. We don't have any big corporate slogans on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. We’ve been in Hyderabad for years and this spot in Banjara Hills has worked out well for us. It’s central enough that we can get anywhere, but tucked away enough that we can actually get some work done. It’s just a group of us here, doing our thing for Novartis India. We keep things pretty low-key and just focus on the day’s responsibilities without trying to make it sound like more than what it is. It's a decent place to spend our working hours.
