Maheshwari Traders

Our shop, Maheshwari Traders, is right at 2-4-1092 in Nimboliadda, Kachiguda. It’s an old building in a part of town that never really sleeps. We deal in various goods, mostly trading whatever the local market is looking for at the time. The space inside is mostly taken up by sacks and boxes piled high. We have a small corner where we sit with a ledger and a calculator to keep track of what comes in and what goes out. Kachiguda is always loud with vehicles and people shouting, so we are used to the noise. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical place where work gets done. Sometimes we have tea with the other shopkeepers nearby while we wait for a delivery. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is worn down from all the boots walking over it. We just focus on getting the stock right and making sure our regulars get what they need. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic in Nimboliadda. Other days, we barely have time to eat lunch because so many people are coming in. We’ve been at 2-4-1092 for years, and it feels like home to us now. We just keep the doors open and do our bit for the area.
