Neha Garments

If you walk down towards the Hanuman Temple in Kavadiguda, you will find us nearby. Neha Garments is at 1-4-27/202. It is not a place you would notice from a mile away. It is a humble setup. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers throughout the day. It gives the area a certain feel that we have gotten used to. Kavadiguda is our home, and most of the people who come in are from just around the block. We have a lot of clothes piled up, and sometimes the organization is not the best, but we know where everything is kept. The unit 202 is where we spend our lives, basically. We start when the sun comes up and usually stay until well after it goes down. It is not glamorous work. There is a lot of ironing and folding and fixing small mistakes that happen. We do not have a big sign with bright lights. Just the name Neha Garments painted on the door. We talk to the neighbors, share a bit of tea, and handle the customers as they come in. It is a simple life for us. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit of a mess, but the temple area stays busy regardless of the weather. We are not looking to expand into some giant warehouse. This spot in Kavadiguda works for us. It is honest work and we are just regular folks.
