National Institute Of Fashion Techology

We are based in Sachivalaya Nagar, specifically at H No S2 C 41 in Vanasthali Puram. It is a bit of a distance from the main city center of Hyderabad, but it is a good, quiet neighborhood. The office is essentially a house that we have converted for our fashion techology work. It has a very local and lived-in feel to it. You will often see different fabrics and sketches scattered around on the tables. It is not a sterile corporate environment at all. We have a few sewing machines and workstations set up in the rooms. The staff is small, and we all know each other well. We get people coming in to learn about design or to work on their own projects. It is a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of materials being delivered, but we manage. The street is mostly quiet, which is good for doing creative work. We do not really do big brochures. People find us because they are interested in the craft itself. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time talking about patterns and textures. The lighting isn't great in the evenings, but we have some desk lamps that do the job well enough. Sometimes we stay late to finish a particular project. It is a bit messy, but that is just how it is when you are working with clothes.
