National Institute For Smart Governmentindia Hyderabad

This is a bit of an interesting setup since we are associated with the Hyderabad group but actually based here in Manila. You can find us at Dorm 202 in the Asian Institute Of Management. It is a bit of a trek from India, but the work we do connects back home. The office space is right inside the campus, so it has that academic feel to it. We deal with government tech projects and various international things. It is a lot of emails and late-night calls because of the time difference between the two countries. The room is very basic, just enough for a few of us to sit and get through our tasks. Manila is a fast-paced city, very different from Hyderabad, but we have adjusted over time. The food is different and the weather is humid in its own way. We spend most of our time looking at screens and coordinating between different departments across the miles. It is not a large operation here, just a small branch. We try to keep things running without too much fuss or ceremony. Being inside the dorm building means it is relatively quiet most of the time. We do not have a big sign outside. People usually find us through word of mouth or internal memos. We try to stay organized but sometimes the files pile up when we are busy. It is just a practical way to have a presence here.
