Nataraj Handicrafts

Down here in the Chekapura area, specifically at Kasarelta, you will find our small setup for Nataraj Handicrafts. We aren't some big factory or a high-end boutique with glass windows. It is mostly just a few of us working with our hands every single day. The space we have is a bit cramped because we have materials and tools tucked into every possible corner. You might see some half-finished pieces sitting on the wooden tables or stacks of raw supplies waiting to be used. We have been in this spot for quite a while now, and the neighbors on the street know us pretty well. It’s a relatively quiet area most of the time, though the street gets busy when people are out for lunch. People often stop by just to peek in and see what we are making that day. We do not have a big fancy sign or a shiny showroom to display things. It is just where we work. Sometimes the dust from the wood or the threads from the fabrics gets everywhere, so we are always sweeping up at the end of the day. We just try to make things that look decent and serve a purpose for whoever buys them. It's how we make our living. There is no big business strategy here, just waking up and getting to work on whatever order happens to be next on the list. We handle everything ourselves, from picking out the materials to wrapping things up.
