Narayana Junior College

You can find Narayana Junior College over at Plot No 165 in the Devi Arcade building. It’s on Street No 1 in West Marredpally, which is a pretty well-known part of Hyderabad. The college takes up a good portion of the building there. It’s mostly just classrooms and a small area for the staff to sit and work on their lesson plans. Since it’s a junior college, we deal with students who are in those two critical years before they head off to university. Things are usually quite intense here because the students are all worried about their final exams and getting into good colleges. We spend a lot of time going over the syllabus and doing practice tests. The area around West Marredpally is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the main city center, but there are still plenty of shops and cafes around where the kids go for a snack after their classes. We don't have a big campus with trees and grass; it’s more of a functional urban building. The hallways can get a bit crowded between classes when everyone is moving around. We just focus on getting through the material. Our desks are the standard type, and the whiteboards are always covered in notes and equations. It is a straightforward place for students who just need to study and get their certificates. No frills, just plenty of hard work every day.
