Suhar Woven Sacks

Suhar Woven Sacks is situated at Plot No. 25, specifically in Shed No. II, No. 18 (Extn) in the I. D. A. area of Nacharam. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but if you’re in Nacharam, you know the industrial area can be a bit of a maze. Our shed is usually filled with the sound of the looms clicking away as they weave the plastic strips into sacks. It’s a repetitive noise that you eventually stop hearing after a few hours. There are stacks of finished bags everywhere, piled high towards the ceiling. We spend a lot of time checking the weave for any gaps and making sure the rolls are feeding into the machines correctly. The air is always a bit dry and smells like fresh plastic. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting, moving the big rolls around, and a few others who sit and monitor the stitching. It’s a busy place, and we don’t really have time for much else but keeping the production line moving. Sometimes the threads break, and everything has to stop while someone with steady hands ties it all back together. We’ve been in this shed for a while, and the walls are starting to show their age with some cracks and peeling paint, but the machines inside are what matter. It’s honest, hard work, and we just keep at it until the sun goes down and we lock up the gate for the night. The light in here isn't great, but we know our way around.
