Insurance - Advisor

I run the Insurance - Advisor office out of East Pragathi Nagar in Moulali. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, which makes it a nice place to work from. My office isn't in a big skyscraper downtown; it’s just a simple room where I keep all my files and a desk for when people come to visit. I’ve been living and working around Moulali for quite some time now, so I know the neighborhood pretty well. Most of my day is spent looking over different policy documents or explaining the fine print to someone over a cup of tea. Insurance can be really confusing with all the jargon, so I just try to talk about it in a way that makes sense. I don't have a big staff, so if you call, you’re usually talking directly to me. I handle everything from health to life insurance, and I spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone. Sometimes I have to head out to meet people at their homes if they can't make it to Pragathi Nagar. It’s not a fast-paced corporate life, and I prefer it that way. There’s a lot of trust involved in this kind of work, and I just try to be honest about what a policy can and cannot do. It’s a one-man show mostly, just keeping track of dates and renewals for the people who live nearby.
