Mindspace

Mindspace is located in the East Pent House at Garden Towers, over in the Mahara Block of Masab Tank, Hyderabad. Being in a penthouse sounds a bit more fancy than it actually is. It’s really just the top floor, which means it gets quite warm in the summer months. The view of the city is alright, though, especially in the evenings when the lights start coming on. Masab Tank is a busy area, so there’s always noise coming up from the street. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the sound of horns and traffic. The office is one big open space where we have all our computers set up. We do consulting work, which mostly involves a lot of talking and planning. We don't have any flashy signs or corporate branding inside. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate headquarters. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some snacks. Sometimes we have meetings out on the balcony if the weather is nice enough. We’re a small team and we’ve known each other for a long time. There’s no hierarchy here; we all just pitch in and do what needs to be done. We focus on the work itself rather than trying to look professional for the sake of it. It’s a practical place to spend the day, and we like being in this part of Hyderabad.
