Our place is right on 100 Feet Road in Madhapur, specifically Plot No: 674 in Ayyappa Society. Being beside the lane for Vijay Laxmi Super Market makes it easy to give directions. It’s a very busy part of town and there is always something going on outside. Inside, we do informatics work. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly we manage information and keep databases running for our customers. The office is one large room with desks lined up against the walls. We have whiteboards covered in scribbles and lists that only we understand. It can get a bit cluttered with boxes and old cables. We’ve been here for a while and the carpet is starting to show some wear. Usually, there are five or six of us in the office at once. We share the space and help each other out when someone gets stuck on a piece of code. The super market next door is handy for snacks or when we need to grab something on the way home. Traffic in Madhapur can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we sometimes wait an hour before heading out. We don’t have any big corporate goals written on the walls. We just want to do a decent job and keep the lights on. It’s a straightforward business run by regular people who just happened to be good with computers. We stay focused and try to get everything finished before the weekend starts.
