Max Fashion is located at Door No 1 2 on Jubilee Post Office Road. Being in Dewan Devdi means we are quite close to the Charminar, so there’s always a crowd. We started this shop because we wanted to be in this specific part of Hyderabad. It’s a very practical place. We don’t have any of those polished marketing slogans. We just sell clothes. The post office is right nearby, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Inside the shop, you’ll find piles of shirts and trousers everywhere. It’s not always perfectly organized, especially on a Saturday when everyone is out shopping. My brother and I manage everything ourselves. We get our stock from the wholesale markets nearby. We don't have a big mission or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure people find what they need. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just sit on the steps and wait. The noise from the Jubilee Post Office Road is something you just get used to after a week. We’ve been at Door No 1 2 for several years. We know the other shopkeepers on the street quite well. We aren’t trying to be the biggest store in the city. We are just a local spot for people in 500002 to get their clothes. It’s a straightforward business and we like the people who come in. We stay open late because that’s when the neighborhood is most active.
