Up in Gayathri Hills, Hyderabad, is where we do our work at Marvist Web Research. It’s a nice enough area with a bit of a view if you stand on the balcony. We spend most of our time staring at screens and looking things up. Research takes a lot of patience, and that’s what we do every day. The office is pretty quiet because everyone is usually focused on their own tasks. We aren't some big tech giant with a slide in the lobby. It’s just a standard office with desks, chairs, and a lot of coffee cups. We moved here because it’s a good location for a small team like ours. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a backup to keep the computers running. We don't do much talking about ourselves; we just get the data sorted. The team is a mix of younger folks and some who have been doing this since the internet was new. We don’t have a dress code, so you’ll usually see us in jeans and t-shirts. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we stay busy. We don't use any fancy jargon when we talk to people. We just tell them what we found and move on to the next project. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it works for us. Gayathri Hills is a good place to be based for this kind of work. We usually stay until the work for the day is finished.
