About Likas Paper Cups Plates – Plastic in Hyderabad
Our workshop is located at the Crafts Men Guild in Malleypally. We have been making paper cups and plates here for several years. It is a noisy place because the machines run most of the day. We get big rolls of paper delivered, and then we turn them into the cups you see at tea stalls or the plates used at small parties. There are a few of us working here, handling the cutting and the pressing. It’s not fancy work. Our hands often have a bit of dust or ink on them by the end of the shift. Malleypally is a busy area, so getting the delivery trucks in and out of S. No. 108 can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We keep a stock of different sizes in the back. People from the neighborhood and from further away come to buy in bulk. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk into the shed and talk to whoever is near the machine. We try to keep the quality consistent, though sometimes the machine acts up and we have to spend an hour fixing a gear. It's a practical business. Paper is better than plastic, so we stay busy enough. We just focus on getting the orders finished on time so the local shops don't run out. That is basically our day-to-day life here at the guild. It is just regular manufacturing work for local needs.
