Shri Aai Mataji Agency

Our shop, Shri Aai Mataji Agency, is right on the Main Road in Ambarpet. It’s a busy area and there’s always noise from the traffic outside. We’ve been at No. 2 - 2 - 64/1 for quite some time. The space is a bit cramped because we have to keep a lot of stock inside. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for among all the boxes. I spend most of my day sitting near the front counter, talking to people who walk in. Some are regulars from the neighborhood, and others are just passing through because of the main road location. It’s a simple setup with shelves lining the walls. We handle the inventory ourselves, and my brother usually helps me with the heavy lifting when the new supplies arrive. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a regular local agency. We don’t really do fancy displays. If someone needs something, they ask, and we get it for them. The building is old but it serves us well enough. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough since the door stays open all day. We just keep the fan running and keep working. There’s always paperwork to do in the evenings once the shutter goes down. It’s just how things are here in Ambarpet, keeping busy and making sure the shop stays stocked up for the next day. It's a lot of work but it keeps us involved.
