Mahum Constructions Private Limited operates out of 25/1/1 Darga Road. It's actually at Naheed Rashid's place, which makes things feel a bit more personal than a cold office building. We have been working in construction for a good bit of time now. It’s a lot of manual work and planning that people don't always see. Some days are just spent on the phone trying to find materials that aren't overpriced. Other days, we are out at the sites making sure things aren't leaning the wrong way. Darga Road is always a bit noisy, but we like it that way. It feels like things are happening. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff about us. It's just us doing the work. Usually, we are covered in dust or looking at blueprints until our eyes hurt. We take on different types of building jobs, whatever comes our way really. It is mostly about getting the walls up and making sure the roof stays on. We’ve had some tough times like everyone else, but we keep the doors open. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some invoices. That's just the reality of a local construction business. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just building parts of it, one brick at a time, right here from our little spot.
