Mahesh A is based in Hyderabad. Being in this city means you are always around some kind of activity. It is a big place and it feels like it never really sleeps. I spend most of my time right here in the city limits. The weather gets incredibly hot during the summer months, so we stay indoors mostly. There isn’t a specific fancy neighborhood to mention, just Hyderabad in general. I started doing this a while back. It’s mostly just me sitting at the desk and getting through the pile of things to do. Sometimes I go out for a break and grab some local food. You can’t really escape the smell of spices when you walk down any street here. It’s a mix of old buildings and new glass towers everywhere you look. My setup is pretty basic. A chair, a table, and enough light to see what I’m doing. I don’t really care much for polished corporate stuff. It feels better to just be a regular person doing a job. The traffic can be a nightmare if you try to go anywhere at five in the evening. Most days are the same, but that’s okay. We keep things moving without making a big fuss about it. It’s just how life goes in this part of India. I like the pace even if it gets tiring sometimes. I don't need much more than my desk and some quiet to get through the work day.
