Maha Lakshmi Concrete Products

We started Maha Lakshmi Concrete Products a good while back out here on Survey No 41. It’s right on that Kazipally Village Road, which gets pretty dusty whenever the trucks go by. Most days, you’ll find us out in the yard early in the morning before the sun gets too hot over Bollaram and Miyapur. We handle a lot of concrete stuff, mostly just getting things cast in the molds and letting them sit. It’s not a fancy setup at all. The front gate sticks a bit in the rainy season, and we often have to move the pallets around so they don’t get stuck in the deep mud. My brother and a few cousins help out with the heavy lifting and the loading. We don’t have a big office or anything like that, just a small desk and some old chairs where we sit and talk to the drivers who come in. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit under the neem tree for a bit. People know us around here because we’ve been in this same spot for years. We just try to get the work done and keep the yard somewhat organized, even though the piles of gravel seem to grow on their own. It’s a lot of manual work, getting the mix right and making sure everything sets properly before it gets loaded up. There isn't much to say other than we stay busy and keep the machines running.
