Maddineni Venkateswaru

My place is located at 3-6-95 on Tirumalagiri Road in the Lal Bahadur Colony. It is named after me because I am the one who runs everything. I have been here in this colony for many years and people know my face. I do a bit of general work and services for the people around here. The shop is part of my house actually so I am always around if someone needs something. Tirumalagiri Road gets some traffic but it is mostly people who live nearby. I keep my tools and supplies in a small room at the front. It’s a bit messy but I know where everything is kept. I don't like to throw things away because you never know when a spare part might be useful. Lal Bahadur Colony is a nice area with a lot of families. I often see the kids playing in the street while I am working on a project. I don't have a big team or fancy office. It is just me and sometimes a helper if the job is too big for one person. I don't do any marketing. Word of mouth is how I get my customers. People know I do a decent job and I don't charge more than is fair. That is enough for me to keep going. I enjoy being my own boss and living where I work.
