Our team at MAA LAXMI INFRA & ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED works out of Kh No 4 in Makammatpur Sikrod. If you have been out this way, you know it is a bit more open and industrial than the city center. We spend a lot of time on infra and engineering work that takes us out into the field. The office is really more of a home base where we keep the equipment and the records. It can get quite dusty out here when the wind picks up across the open ground. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't out at a site. We have some heavy desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the engineering specs. The lighting is a bit dim in the afternoons but we make do. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep going. The area around Makammatpur Sikrod is changing with new projects starting up all the time. We have our hands full keeping up with the schedule. It is hard work and it isn't always clean, but that is the nature of the infra business. We don't put on any acts here. We just show up, do the engineering work, and go home. It is a simple life centered around the shop. The local tea stall is where we get most of our news. It is not glamorous but it works.
