M J Engineering Works

Over at Plot No 264/265 in Suleman Nagar, you’ll find our workshop, M J Engineering Works. We are right by Pillar No-241, not too far from the Dairy Farm Bus Stop here in Rajendranagar. Most days it’s just the sound of tools and machines going. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. The workshop gets hot in the afternoons, especially when we have a lot of metal to handle. We usually start early before the sun gets too high. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because of the pillar number outside. We don't mind. It’s mostly just us working on whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s big pieces, sometimes small ones that need a bit of fixing. We keep our tools organized on the wall, or try to anyway. It's a bit dusty, but that's how engineering places are. My hands are usually covered in grease by noon. We take a break for tea when the sun is right overhead. It’s a simple life, really. We just focus on the job in front of us. If you’re coming from the Rangareddy side, you just look for the bus stop and we’re right there. We don't have a fancy office, just the workspace and some stools. It gets loud when the machines are all running at once. But we are used to it by now. We just keep going until the work is done for the day. That is about it for our little shop.
