Linear Automations

Linear Automations is located at D-2 in the Industrial Estate at Moula-Ali. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there’s always a background noise of engines and sirens. Our unit is pretty standard for this area. We’ve got space for our equipment and a small area where we do the planning. It’s an automation business, but it feels very manual most of the time because we are constantly hands-on with the hardware. There are cables everywhere and boxes stacked up against the walls. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and testing out different setups. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing with the smaller parts. Moula-Ali is a bit of a trek for some people, but it’s where the work is. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most people who come here already know what they’re looking for. It’s just a group of us trying to make these systems work like they should. We don't have much time for small talk; there’s always a deadline or a machine that needs attention. It’s a busy, cluttered, and productive little corner of the estate. We just get on with the day and try to keep everything on schedule.
