Lavida Design Studio Llp

Our studio, Lavida Design Studio Llp, is located at Shaikpet, specifically Plot No 8 1 43/1/A 25&26. We’ve been here for a while now, working out of this space on various projects. We focus on design, mostly for interiors and some outdoor areas for local houses. It’s a small team of us here. We spend a lot of time looking at color swatches and trying to figure out which fabric won't get ruined by a pet or a kid. Shaikpet is a good area for us, fairly central to the city. Our office is often a mess of tile samples, catalogs, and wood chips. We don't really mind the clutter because it means we’re actually deciding on things for our clients. We don't put on a big show when people come in to see us. We just sit down, have some tea, and look at what needs to be done. Every house is different, and people have all sorts of ideas that sometimes work and sometimes really don't. We try to be realistic about what can fit in a room. If a sofa is too big for the space, we’ll tell you straight. We handle the drawings and then talk to the contractors to make sure they’re following the plan accurately. Sometimes we have to go back and forth a few times to get it right. It’s just part of the process. We like the creative side, but we also like seeing the physical result at the end.
