Lab Assistant

I’ve been working as a Lab Assistant out of this house in Malkajgiri for a long time. It’s Hno 17 878 in the Innagar area of Secunderabad. It’s not a big hospital or anything like that, just a small space where I handle the testing and samples that come through. People from the neighborhood know to come here when they need something looked at quickly. Hyderabad is a big place, but this corner of Malkajgiri feels more like a small town where everyone knows each other. My day usually starts early, getting the equipment ready and making sure everything is clean. It’s quiet work, mostly. I spend a lot of time looking through the microscope or writing down numbers in my ledger. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a pain, but we manage. I didn't want to work in a giant corporate lab where you're just a number. Here, I talk to the people who walk in. They might be worried about a health test, and I just tell them the facts. The room is a bit small and filled with glass jars and tubes, but it works for what I do. I’ve lived in this part of Secunderabad my whole life. Moving the business elsewhere never really crossed my mind. It’s just me doing my job, keeping things organized, and making sure the results are right. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s a practical way to spend the day and it keeps me busy.
