Hippo Labs Pvt. Ltd. is based out in Kukatpally, specifically at Plot No 17 in R.G Nagar, which is part of the I.D.A Prashanth Nagar area. Being in an industrial development area means things are always moving around us. It’s a bit dusty and noisy outside sometimes with all the trucks and activity, but our office is our own little space. We’re a team that likes to build things and experiment with new ideas. The name Hippo Labs just sounded right because we like to take on big tasks that require some real strength to finish. Inside, it’s mostly just workbenches and computers. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything like that, just a small one by the door so people know they’re at the right place. We’re not interested in looking like a big corporation. We just want to do work that we can be proud of at the end of every day. The team here is pretty close-knit and we get along well. We usually share a meal together in the afternoons and talk about things other than work. It keeps us sane when the projects get tough or the hours get long. Kukatpally is a great place for a business like ours because everything we need is close by. We’ve been at this plot for a few years now and it really suits what we do. It's just a plain, honest working environment for everyone.
