You can find us at the Apie industrial estate in Balanagar. The exact spots are 13-175/2A, 3A, and 4A. It’s a big space because we need the room for the refrigeration units and the assembly work we do at Konark Refrigeration Industries Pvt. Ltd. The floors are concrete and there’s always a bit of dust because of the industrial nature of the area. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the heavy tools are going, but that’s just how it is in Balanagar. We have several sections connected together, which can be a bit confusing for new visitors. The office part is just a partitioned area with some old wooden desks and a couple of computers. We spend a lot of time on our feet moving between the different blocks. The power goes out occasionally, so we have to deal with that, which is just part of being in this part of town. We usually keep some spare parts lying around in piles that only we understand. It’s a practical setup meant for getting work done rather than looking pretty. There’s a small yard in the back where we keep some of the larger metal frames. It’s a busy, functional place where we spend our days making sure the orders are ready on time. We don't have a fancy lunchroom, just a couple of benches outside where we sit when the weather is okay.
