Kirthi Beauty Parlour & Training Institute

This shop is on Street No 7 in Ashok Nagar. It’s tucked away a bit, right opposite the lane where Andhra Bank is. We do two things here. We have the parlour part for regular hair and face stuff, and then we also teach girls who want to learn the trade. The training institute part isn't a big classroom or anything fancy. It is just us showing them how to hold the thread or mix the hair dye right here in the shop. Most of the students are from around Hyderabad. They come in the mornings. It can get a bit cramped when there are three students and two customers all in one room. We have a few chairs and some old posters on the walls showing different styles. Sometimes the students make mistakes, but that’s how they learn. We’ve been here in Ashok Nagar for a good while. It's a quiet street compared to the main roads. People find us by word of mouth mostly. We don't do big advertisements. If you want a facial or a haircut, we do that. If you want to learn how to open your own shop, we try to help with that too. It’s a lot of work running both sides of the business. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Saturdays, it gets a little chaotic. That’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in town. We just want to be a reliable spot.
