About Kiran Flour Mill – Food & Beverages in Hyderabad
Our mill is at number 568 in Sangareddy. It’s a straightforward place where we grind flour for the people in the Medak area. Kiran Flour Mill isn't a big factory, just a local business that's been around for a while. The machines are loud and they make the whole floor vibrate when they’re running at full speed. We spend most of our time lifting bags and making sure the grain is fed into the hoppers correctly. It’s a bit of a messy job, but we don't mind the flour on our clothes. We don't have a secretary or a computer to track things. We just remember who brought what or write it down on the back of a receipt. Most of the folks who come here are our neighbors or people from the nearby villages. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can get their bread made. Sometimes the stones in the grinder need sharpening, and that’s a whole afternoon’s work by itself. We don't do any big advertising. If someone likes the flour, they tell their friends, and that's how we stay busy. It’s just honest work in a small building. We open early in the morning when it’s still cool outside and usually close up once it gets dark. It's a steady way to make a living and we appreciate everyone who stops by.
