Khetalal Patel

Our shop is at 11-2-391 in Nampally, right across from the Government Hospital. Being near the hospital means the area is always busy, with people and vehicles moving around at all hours. Khetalal Patel is the name on the board, and we’ve been operating from this location for quite a long time. It’s a traditional kind of setup. We have shelves lining the walls and a counter where we talk to everyone who walks in. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We handle a variety of goods, and the stock changes depending on the season and what people are asking for. The morning starts with us cleaning the front and setting things out. It’s a bit noisy with the sirens and the general city sounds, but you get used to it after a while. We know many of the other shopkeepers on this street, and we often share a cup of tea or help each other with small things. We don't do any flashy advertising or have a big website. People just know we are here across from the hospital if they need something. It’s a straightforward way of doing business, focusing on the people who come through the door and making sure they find what they are looking for. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, without any fancy talk or complicated systems.
