We are over at Plot No 9 in Rajeev Nagar Colony. It is near Bhoodevi Nagar in the Trimulgherry area of Secunderabad. Our company is all about poultry farmers working together. It is a producer company, which means the people who actually raise the birds are the ones involved. We use this office to manage the logistics and the paperwork that comes with running a collective. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and tables and a lot of registers. We spend our days coordinating between different farmers and making sure things are moving as they should. Trimulgherry is a decent place to work, though the traffic near the post office can be a pain. We have members coming in from all over to discuss prices or feed supplies. It feels more like a community center sometimes than a business office. We all share a common goal of keeping the poultry farms sustainable. There is a lot of talk about bird health and market rates. We don't have a fancy receptionist or expensive furniture. We spend our money on things that help the farmers instead. It is a very down-to-earth way of doing things. We just try to stay organized and help each other out when the market gets tough. That is the whole point of being here. It is about real people and real birds, nothing more complicated than that.
