S 3 Engineering Works

S 3 Engineering Works is situated in the Kattedan Industrial Area, right near the Masjid Quaratai Islam at number 6 38. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. Our workshop is filled with the sound of grinding and welding for most of the day. It’s a tough environment, but that is what engineering work is like. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space, so you have to be careful where you walk. The floor is covered in metal shavings and oil spots, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don't have a fancy front office; our desk is just tucked into a corner where it's a bit quieter. Most of our clients are other businesses in the area who need parts repaired or custom bits made. The heat can be quite intense in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we just keep the big doors open to let some air in. We’ve been at this location for a while and we know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a community of people who just want to get their work done and go home to their families. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough.
