Kalyani Fashions

Our shop, Kalyani Fashions, is located at P No. 66 in Hasmathpet. It is right in the Old Bowenpally area of Hyderabad. The address is 9-1-50/4 if you are looking for the exact spot. It is a modest place. We don't have fancy lights or big glass windows. We just have a door and some racks of clothing. Every morning, we roll up the shutter and get to work. There is always a bit of paperwork to do, mostly just keeping track of what we sold the day before. The area here is quite old, so the streets are narrow and can get crowded. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It makes the work feel more like a community thing. We don't really have a big plan for the future. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the clothes are of decent quality. Sometimes we have to go out and pick up new items ourselves. That is usually a long day of traveling to the wholesalers and back. But it’s part of the job. Most of our time is spent right here behind the counter. We talk to whoever comes in, whether they buy anything or not. It is a simple life, and the shop is a big part of it. We just keep going, day after day, making sure the shelves are stocked for whoever might need something new to wear.
