Kajol Fancy

Osmanshahi Road is always busy, and our shop is right in the middle of that rush. We call it Kajol Fancy, and we deal with all those small things that people need but often forget. It’s mostly bangles, hair clips, some makeup items, and stitching supplies. We are at shop number 15-4-97, which is near the old bus stand road area. It’s a small space, but we try to keep it bright so the colors of the threads and beads show up well. Women from the neighborhood come in looking for a specific shade of ribbon or matching bangles for a wedding. It takes time to find exactly what they want, so there is usually a bit of a wait. I like seeing the different patterns we get in stock. Sometimes the kids come in for small toys or fancy stickers. We aren't doing anything big here, just helping people find the small bits and pieces they need for their clothes or daily grooming. The location in Gowli Guda is convenient because people are already out doing their main shopping nearby. It gets cramped when three or four people are inside at once, but we manage. You have to be patient with the tiny items because they get mixed up easily in the boxes. Every evening we spend time putting everything back in its right place so we can find it the next day without any trouble.
