We set up Lakshmi Hayagriva Tutorials in Jubilee Hills because it seemed like a good central spot for students around here. It’s not a huge institution, just a place where kids can come to actually understand their schoolwork. We spend most of our afternoons and evenings going over math problems or explaining science concepts that didn't make sense in class. The desks are usually covered in notebooks and pens. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but we try to keep it focused. We aren't interested in being some big brand name. It’s more about the daily grind of helping someone pass an exam or finish their homework. Jubilee Hills can be a busy place, but once you're inside, it's just about the books. We’ve seen all kinds of students, some who catch on fast and others who need a bit more time. It’s just how it is. We don't use fancy gadgets or complicated software, just whiteboards and paper mostly. We show up, we teach, and we hope the kids learn something useful. There are days when the lessons go really well and days when it feels like we’re repeating ourselves a lot. But that’s teaching for you. We just keep at it every day, making sure we’re ready when the students arrive after school and need help with their various subjects.
