Jr Processer

I work as a Jr Processer here in Hyderabad. My spot is at H No 6 500 A in Dwarakanager, which is right in the Chintal area on HMT Road. It’s a busy part of the city with a lot of workshops and small businesses. My day is mostly spent processing documents and making sure everything is filed correctly. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but someone has to do it. The office is just a room in a house that’s been converted. It’s got a bit of a homey feel, though it’s definitely a place of work. The noise from HMT Road is constant—lots of trucks and bikes passing by all day long. I have a small desk with a computer and a lamp because the light in the room isn't that great. I’ve been living in Hyderabad for years, so the heat and the noise don’t bother me much anymore. I usually take my breaks at the small tiffin center nearby. The work involves a lot of data entry and checking forms for errors. It’s not very exciting, but it keeps me occupied. I don't have any staff working under me, so I handle everything from opening the mail to shutting the lights at night. The pincode 500054 is my little corner of the world. It’s just a straightforward job in a straightforward neighborhood. I try to get through my stack of papers before the sun goes down so I can head home and avoid the worst of the traffic. It is a long day.
